VHSHITFEST has been uncovering and releasing movies on video for over a decade, across DVD and VHS, and is now moving into blu-ray, with the same goal to showcase the most unique, crazy, and obscure movies that they've discovered through years of collecting VHS, allowing even more people to actually be able to experience these nearly lost gems in the best versions possible.

A corrupt sheriff schemes with city officials to obtain lucrative lakefront property. In a web of lies and intrigue, the sheriff tricks two offbeat killers into murdering his partners in the deal, all in one night over the Fourth of July.

The Killing Tide never received the distribution it deserved when it was originally released, sadly falling into complete obscurity. VHSHITFEST is so happy to release one of the all-time great low budget action films of the 90s and a soon to be cult classic.
